| I'll be posting this on the Wigan Forum as well, but just wanted to say that one of your ex-players was an absolute gentleman last night at the Leeds game (not sure why he was there).
A father who was sat in front of me asked Fielden if he would pose for a photo with his son (probably aged about 5). He said yes and put the chap's son up on his shoulders and had a conversation with the boy for a couple of minutes afterwards.
Good to see someone taking time out for fans.

| Interesting to stumble upon this. Everybody mocks Wakefield for their slap dashness but it's probably the only club in Super League where this is the norm. I've spoken up close to so many RL players and coaches past and present at Wakefield over the years. I've been a supporter since the late 1980s while my dad has been a supporter since the 1950s. To list a few, and I mean a few - Neil Fox, Harold Poynton, Ray Price, Peter Stirling, Kurt Sorensen, Nigel Bell, Alan Langer, Darryl van der Velde, Martin Offiah, Jason Robinson, Frano Botica, the Paul Brothers, Shaun McRae, Andy Farrell, Danny McGuire, Rob Burrow, Terry Newton, Paul Sculthorpe, David Solomona, Ali Lauititi and pretty much every other player who played during those eras.

| Fair play to Stuart Fielden but is this really a surprise? I've been following the game since the mid-80s and irrespective of RL player or club I've found players and staff agreeable to a moment for an autograph or photograph. The most recent example being both Hetheringtons on Saturday.
The only time I didn't get an autograph on request was from Sean Long. That wasn't even a bad incident either. He wanted to go to the dressing room and get changed so he indicated that we could meet him at the player's entrance. Time restraints meant that we couldn't.
