Quote ="feebleweasel"Nonsense. They should have moved the golf to the Red button and showed the RL at the advertised time. If it was the Open I could understand but this was a nothing tournament but seemingly far more important than a RL Semi Final. I was in a pub expecting it to come and missed the first 5 minutes because I had to go and get the barmaid to find the remote and then find where the box was to use the Red button.
And what about RL fans who have taped the game because they are unable to watch it live. Will they not be fscked off when they see golf instead of the amazing game of RL they were expecting?'"
It was the Scottish Open.
Anyone who set their box to record will have recorded the right thing, not the golf.
Anyone who still uses tape has my admiration, but I don't think it's reasonable for the BBC to cater for approx. 3 people.
You should not be so dismissive of fans of other sports. Golf is pretty popular I hear and if you were fair you could equally say would golf fans not be fscked off when they saw RL instead of the finale ie playoff in the golf they were expecting. I would of course personally prefer the rugby league, but don't see why you are assuming that it has some sort of droit du seigneur to ride roughshod over others, that's all.
