The fact Cas lost Lynch, Hudson etc showed up one of the the biggest problems with P & R and it is little wonder that teams in threat of relgation used to fill their teams with kolpak stiffs rather than give young players a chance knowing full well should they get relegated they would lose those same youngsters for nothing.

Oh I agree. I was pointing out some possible double standards, but also that it is possible to lose your 4 best players (arguably), suffer relegation & still bounce back.

Wouldn't any serious investor want to ensure that the Club's best assets stay on board,otherwise why invest and then spend to replace?
