No i would go Kear Purtell Lulia Crookes. Ainscough as back up. I doubt very much he's going to be able to play top flight rugby anymore. Too old, been out of the game too long and hasn't played since his injury.

Right now, I'd go Lulu and Crookes on the left, Purts and Pryce on the right. Kear to FB and BK to 6. I'm not knocking Jeffries but he's not as good as Gale at 7 and he's poor at 6.

If either Gaskell or Wheeler is available from Saints I'd sign either to go to stand off from next year.

I've put up with Hood. At a pinch I can even stand the Dark Lord regaining command of Odsal but Keef is a step too far.

How about Matty Smith from Salford? OOC at the end of the season I think.

Decent player but more a 7 or 9 isn't he. Apart from the issues with injuries and getting our halves on the pitch our problem (for the last how many years) is at 6 in my view.
