Quote ="Adeybull"Will try tomorrow. May have to be brief answers though.
You missed out a key question: "Is some clubs having having a rich owner with a big chequebook a good thing or a bad thing for the competition, in the context of franchising?
And that is only partly in jest. It MIGHT be something to consider in your dissertation, given the security that having the assured financial backing provides. Are the implications any different to having or not having a rich backer in a P&R environment? I'm not sure, but it might be an interesting subject for consideration given that we have a competition that is polarising between those with a rich backer and those without. They will doubtless say the same in the lower leagues - especially with O'Connor at Widnes. Is it any co-incidence that they are the favourites for a franchise?
Serious suggestion!
And what's this about a Wolf won't bite a Wolf in your sig though? Since you are a Wire fan that's a given?'"
definately something that will form part of my discussion! cannot be ignored, neither can the other aspects that could be effecting attendances, ie the recession. but you are 100% right in the fact that the two polars in the same league wont exactly be good.
well the lupus non mordet lupum was something that had turned up on one of our shirts a few years back and has stuck with us and since then ive really just liked the phrase lol!
any answers are appreciated mate, as yed mentioned i will have to read them all, lol! so too long is not advised
just give it a crack! thanks again!
