It depends on the size of the display you're after. Everyone goes for the big fireworks nowadays, in the old days your average back garden display was ideal cos you only had the smaller fireworks.
I'll be going to my local one at Bramley Park with the kids. Its a big display but far enough away so its not a big problem with the noise.
Quote="Bradford Badger"Should be able to see loads from there however it always seems either to be raining or just covered in mist and fog/smoke for the last few years.'"

Quote="debaser"What is it with Bradford and bonfires? I went to a gig in Manchester last night and as I drove through Bradford, it seemed that every piece of wasteland had a fire going on it. Gangs of lads walking about with wood and sofas and stuff to burn. I didn't see anything like that in Manchester. It's always been the same in Bradford. If its not nailed down, someone will burn it!'"

Assuming it is considered antisocial to shoot the jerk, it should be made to go into a house after a fire where there have been fatalities, and see first hand what a fire can do.
