Does anyone know if Sky or ESPN will be showing the NRL next season ?

I don't think Sky will pick it up. Purely because before Setanta got it, Sky had dropped it voluntarily. It wasn't part of a bidding war, they'd simply decided not to renew. Setanta then picked it up afterwards.



I do hope I'm wrong though as I'd love to see it back on Sky. I don't want to pay for ESPN just for the NRL (and won't), but if it's on Sky Sports (which I already subscribe to), I'll watch every game.

I agree I would like to see it back on Sky I havent seen much of the NRL or State Of Origin since it went to Setanta I think Sky's coverage since loosing the NRL as been bare IMO.

I would pay for ESPN to watch it. I really do enjoy my Sat and Sun morning fix of NRL action (on Sky+ if games are Fri/Sat).



The RL is usually top quality so I hope somebody decides to broadcast it, watching it online just isn't the same IMO.

I think this would be a good pick up for any of the minor channels as it would definetely get a cult following
