The use of the prefix re should be accompanied with a hyphen to distinguish one word from the more familiar, identically spelt word, e.g.

I think the relaxation of the dress code is having a negative impact on attendances, certainly in the Coral. We only went as it said no jeans or trainers, yet we ended up next to scruffy oiks in strange coloured shirts with writing all over them. The tigress got something on her evening dress which I can only assume was working class detritus. She's had to take it to one of the charity type shops for people in the south of the district.
