Quote ="DILLIGAF"It seems that this is just the norm at Hull. Every time I go, and last night was no exception, you see numerous idiots in chav corner pointing to people and offering them outside. And every single time, the stewards just stand there and watch them. At any other ground, that would get you thrown out for threatening behaviour, but it just seems like Hull are fine with it.'"
Got to agree with DILLIGAF here, I was in an area closer than usual to 'chav corner' and it was disgusting to be honest. Knowing the RFL's stance on the 'Respect' campaign etc it does make you wonder how this group get away with it. Abuse on many levels was clearly audible from that corner and parts of the East Stand which would not be tolerated at most of the other SL grounds but I think the Stewards operate on a damage limitation strategy and they don't want to have to mass evict for their own safety.
Rugby League is a family game, something needs to done but I think it has to be a Club and Supporter initiative to show what is and is not reasonable behavior, its that or live with the fact that your Club has a bad reputation earned for you by these idiots. I would not take someone new to RL to the KC to get them interested, we took our Mum to this one and I don't think she will be there next year, loves going to away games with us but not the KC again.
Unfortunately I have heard from a lot of Bradford fans who got a lot more abuse than usual just getting to thier cars that night which is sad as the majority of Hull FC fans get tainted by the few.
