well i dont think whitehead has done anything that would preclude him from selection and as we're supposed to be getting ready for a youth revolution at odsal i think he should be getting a decent amount of game time

To be fair, he's played 7 games already since he broke onto the scene, I think that's a decent amount of exposure for a young player in his first season. We don't want to hold them back to much, but we've got to let them have a feel for it.

It sounds a fair deal but how much actual game time does it equate to? To be honest I don`t really know but I doubt it`s all that much.

As Roofaldo says he`s hardly done anything to preclude himself being selected, which, though it sounds a bit like faint praise, is really a good report for a young player breaking into the squad. He`s been solid and looks the part, and one thing`s for sure, he won`t get better playing for the reserves.

only minor change I would like to see would be dropping cook and letting one of youngsters who'll be here the game time buth other than that same as last week for me.

I'd say about 30 - 40 mins most game's he's played in, which is reasonable amount of time for a young player to get in a game(except the silly 4 minutes Macca is intent of giving debutants), I'm not saying he couldn't do more though, because I have no doubts that he could. He's started games aswell, so he's been right there in the games heated opening exchanges. For me he's had a good amount of exposure to Super League though, and that will do him no harm whatsoever, neither will giving him a rest now for a while.

7 Games is good for a rookie, next season I hope it doubles, and by the season after that I hope he's a established first teamer.
