360 and PS3 are more expensive and time consuming to develop for. Games relying on gestures for control generally don't turn out very well, but I'll still be buying it!
Damn it! I only have a ps3 why don't htey bring it out for all three consoles thats stupid and like rugby league 2 world cup ps2 who has one of those now they've got to bring it out on all three or else they won't sell many.
and to think i was most looking forward to the ashes game this year! what would be really awesome is if they made a a controller sensor to strap to your ankle so you could actually kick.
I'll buy it but the prognosis is not good. Due for release Oct/Nov and still no
Demo on the website, not even cut scenes.
Fair dooze to Sidhe in creating the game but its financially an uphill struggle when the world wide market is limited predominantly to 2 + 1/3 countries.

Wii is the right current platform for them and I'll be really interested in how they approach the game play. With controls for hands (catching) and passing in a variety of ways (short/long/low/high/ flat/ backwards/reverse and especially timing) and general body movement, speed/positional selection/side step/commit to tackle etc.
Could really work on the Wii in real time action. Could be great with 2/4 players on the same side or against each other.
Ports to other platforms are commercially not worth the investment unless there's a massive uptake on the Wii. The code bases are usually so different it would take an entire rewrite from the bottom up.
Good Luck guys, make a game that we can play.
