Neil Fox was born on 4 May 1939 and last played for us in the 1979/80 season (not sure which game), making him 40.

Sir Keith was 36 when he left for the last time. Other old-timers to consider include David Heron, whom I seem to remember being 37-ish.

Yep, remember watching Neil Fox and people mentioning he was 40 when we played Australia. Still played well though

Tony Fisher must have been knocking on a bit when Peter Fox brought him back in the late 70s. We had the late Geoff Clarkson on the books at about the same time who must have been pushing 40.
