I don't think there's any doubt that we're underdogs. I'd rather be playing Warrington than Wigan, though. That's not to say that I think Wigan are better than them, but rather that we struggle with Wigan's approach to the game in a way that we don't seem to with Warrington. Also, if Westwood is out then that does weaken them. If I could cherry pick any players from around the league to play for Saints I reckon he'd be in my top three.

I'm not expecting us to win, but you never know.

I don't think we are favourites, but neither do I think Warrington are an impossible challenge. I think Warrington leave more holes in defense than Wigan do, they make up for this with being able to play more open attacking rugby, but in the crunch games you can see that being used less in favour of more percentage play. No one wants to throw the interception pass that get's you knocked out of the playoffs.

Saints can't really get more conservative in our play as we have been playing playoff style rugby since Easter. Minimal offloads, tight defense. We just need a bit of rain and then who knows.

I dont think you have a better chance against us we have not really hit top gear this season and in great form at the moment whereas wigan are there for the taking really gone off the boil and have not been able to rest / rotate the squad as we have.

I think that we have developed a lot and the poor play off performances are a thing of the past the players have the big game experience now with the cc cup games and a belief that they r good enough to go all the way.

For you guys to win you would need to dominate our pack which is difficult and i dont believe that yours can do it (no disrespect ) They will be fresh and pumped up for this game and I can only see one outcome. However i think it will be a close game and wouldd love to see a briers dg seal it in the final minutes with a longesq celebration.

Hand injury according to Rush. Not trained so far this week but Sia has and Flannery has done a bit of running.

Shenton very doubtful, Flannery doubtful, Sia probable.

If they're not 100% there's no point risking them, it isn't knock out yet.

Shenton seemed to be holding his arm in a strange way when they were shaking hands at the end of the Wig*n game...thought it looked odd.

I agree mate, Warrington may be renowned as the great entertainers of rugby but in a one off game if the Saints can drag us down to their level in an arm wrestle who knows what might happen. The big problem I see for Saints is there are players in the team who bear the mental scars of past defeats to us and it is like they are intimidated by the aura of the primrose and blue jersey even before they take the field. The pieeaters have the same problem.

What you should do is watch videos of games like London beating us and believe that we can be beaten you just need a bit of self belief in your own players.

Anyway I expect we'll be playing for double or quits in a couple of weeks time because we all know the pies will wimp out of picking us in club call and rely on you to eliminate their nemesis club for them.
