What do you class Walker as? He's kind of a front rower. Soliola can play narrow with decent effect, as can Thompson.

My only real question mark is Richards. I don't really feel like I've seen as much from him as the other youngsters.

I,m hoping Leeds underestimate our young forwards, I should imagine spelled the correct way the young ones will bring a lot of energy to the game.
We still have the ability to beat Leeds, for this we need Lance to produce a big A Game and Johnny to come into the attacking line a lot more for to nights game. Leeds smother outside the ruck area, so maybe Roby can scoot and break out to open the game.
We can,t go into an arm wrestle, so maybe we can conjure up some mobility into the play.

I imagine were going to use walker in a similar way to the way we use lms (looking at how we've lined up) - Walkers work rate can set him apart and should be useful tonight. It's time for some of these guys to make the real step up, to be in contention for a place week in week out, and tonight could be the night for that to happen. I'd prefer to keep soliola wider, where he's most effective, him and greenwood still offer us a lot of strike imo

Charnock playing in the 19s (at full back weirdly enough) so I guess that rules him out - all that's left is to know who else has dropped out the 19!

I've very surprised that neither Charnock or Wheeler are in the halves. I don't get why Brown sees Wello as capable of playing halfback. I've got no problem with him playing in the backrow, just not at halfback.

A) rather wello at halfback than lance, based on last weeks performance - he did enough in the halves last week to warrant this selection, given the lack of returning players

B) who knows what's happened to wheeler, I'm sure the rumours will fly over the next week - charnock is a young kid and given the number of those well have in the pack this week, we need some experience somewhere!

Charnock isent no half back, take that from someone who's watched him from the age of 12. He is a very good Loose and thats his main position for the 19's. Danny Richardson and David Hewitt are the 19's halfs. People suggesting he should play have probably never seen him play.

So we got two ex fullbacks that in reality shouldn't (or not wanted by most fans) be in the 17. None have the rugby brain to direct us around the park. None of them have a kicking game.

Very strange IMO. We can usually get away with have one of them partnering either Wilkin or Walsh but I don't think we will get away with both in the halves.

Well yes, I don't think anyone would have the preference of playing them together, but it's needs must - even if charnock did play, there's no guarantees he'd be able to dictate play, and is obviously judged, by people who are far more knowledgable on the matter than anyone on this board, as not ready. What's going on with wheeler is beyond me but all seems more than meets the eye.

All in all who does that leave who could do a better job?

Wheeler is injured. Not serious but not worth risking. He was at Wakefield last week with the rest of the injured / banned squad.
