Good 50 minutes, terrible 30 minutes. We were really poor in that 2nd half after a good first half performance. The scoreline could've been embarrassing in the end and 58pts conceded in 2 games is a concern. We'll need to defend alot better next week.

I dont know if he was injured. However his performances this season havent been upto scratch, and have been below the other forwards in the team.

Was glad to see Bryn start as he has been excellent this season and deserves on current form to be in the starting 17

As I said to Tony Stark, Bryn's transformation has made it hard for me to be his only fan and potential gentleman lover. He's developing nicely, and starting to make some excellent yards, and having some actual impact into the tackle.

I think the reason we caught a cold in the second half was because we got cocky after scoring the Moore/Clough try. We ran the subsequent kick-off back with sweeping passing moves from our own line, lost the ball and never recovered. I don't think our drop off in the last 20mins was disinterest, it was over-confidence. That's probably a slightly more positive thing to take us to the Wire as I doubt we'll ever get the chance in that game to think we have it in the bag.

Hope I'm wrong, but hanging in against a team dire should have put 60+ against last week is not inspiring especially with our injuries.
I've just got to get used to our new status in SL as being slightly above average.

I've avoided saying this for last 3yrs but fook it, wilkin is 2nd rate player who is not good enough for saints anymore. Since the likes of scully, joynt, and few other stars have left he's now showing he was being carried.

I can't fault he defensive efforts but thats all he is, his attacking is shocking for a player who they say has all the skills. IMO he's behind flannery, clough, tony p in the backrow.

Flannery ain't much better to be honest.

Hi simon, ive been holding back for last 3yrs about wilkin. I know people think i got something against him but i don't.

He had everything to be top class(even world class) but he is nothing more than a squad player IMO. He wouldn't get in the top super league sides.

I can't fault his work in defense but with ball in hand he is shocking. All i hear is how well he runs his lines but its wearing thin now.

Gilmour was still twice the player wilkin was when we let him go.
