I think Saints will go all out to try and secure wins in the next 2 games which will enable us to rest key players at Huddersfield before the Play Offs.

Whether we manage to win the next 2 games is another question. I fancy us this friday purely because Leeds played in a final last week and really targetted it. There's no way they'll be at their best this Friday which gives us a chance. Warrington at home could be a tougher game as they can't really afford to drop points at this stage otherwise they'll end up 6th so they'll be pretty desperate. On the positive, our home record is actually really good this season and that will give us a confidence especially if we do beat Leeds.

I still think 1st wont happen. We have no spine left, Roby gets hammered as he's our only strike player and gets completely neutralised. Lance being back is some boost, but he wont be match fit.
Positives are our pack seems to be firing well. Amor and Walmesley going great and if Mose has a game like he did against Wigan he'll cause the Leeds pack a whole heap of trouble. Should be his type of game

I think we are underestimating Turners new role, if you look at how he played against Wakefield his passing options were pretty good with his positioning similar to Leon Pryce in second phase instead of a flat attack.
First of all our pack has to get the upper hand to give our stand in pivots some time and space.
For me Leeds will try and play similar to last week and try and play the game in our half, but if we play with plenty of energy and purpose we can give Leeds a hard time which could go either way..........we are in with a chance.

Leeds and Wakefield are on different levels. No way Leeds will let Turner play like the wildcats did.

Which is why the pack needs to stand up. It's all down to them to give our scratch halves a chance.

Everything crossed too that we don't get anymore injuries.

I think the pack are capable of getting on top if they are at their best. My only concern is lack of creativity which is obviously going to be our problem with having Walsh, lomax and Wilkin out. Even if we only had one of them then I feel we'd be in with a big shout of old Trafford providing the pack perform.

Leeds superleague form is worse than Wakefield, they have lost to Wakefield, Bradford and London lately.
If our pack gets momentum and put Leeds on the back foot there will be space for Wello, Turner and Lance to play positively.
I don,t think Leeds energy levels will be the same as the cup final last week.

I'm hoping McDonnell will be at fullback as well. He offers us something very positive in attack, and we need all the positive in attack that we can get.

If we win tomorrow and Wigan and Cas lose we can't lose top spot.

A draw was probably the best result fir us in terms I'd getting top. Bad result if we don't finish top.

I'm think I may be a little over confident about his, mainly because we've often got a (weekly round) win against Leeds when we've needed a boost, so its making me feel a bit bullish.
Leeds are a tough outfit and when they put their mind to winning trophy, they're pretty hard to stop. If they've decided they're after the LLS, then tonight is massive for them and will be a tough 80 minutes for us.

Im not confident at all, but perhaps hopeful of what will undoubtably be an upset if we win. Lance is ok, but has failed numerous times to guide the team round the pitch. I was impressed by Turners effort last time out, but he's no halfback either. Also Robes has been nullified by opposition teams recently as he's our only strike player.

I don,t see why we can,t nullify Sinfield and Burrows as well with the doubt of McQuire not in the 17, if we do that then they will also be less creative and turn into a forward battle with Manu and Sol opening things up out wide.
My main concern is Sliverwood and how he is going to shape the way the game is played.

Incredibly 1 win out of 3 could see us finishing top (we beat Leeds, Leeds beat Wigan, Cas drop points in France) and 0 wins out of 3 could see us finishing 6th. Regardless of the standard of Super League, this is one hell of an exciting finish. Just done my own calculations while I had a minute and I've come up with

I'd have more chance of predicting the lottery numbers than that being right though.

I've been saying 1 win out 3 could do it but you wouldn't like to predict it at this stage.

It is an exciting finish but if it was 1st past the post or a top 4 play off (like next year) I would be pooing my pants about tonights game as it is so close. As it's not and we're guaranteed a top 8 place there's not so much pressure riding on it.

The bookies seem to be making Leeds favourites, and giving us a 4 point start on the handicap.

Does it really matter where we finish? Play like we have against Leeds and we've no hope of any play-off progress.
