IMO the difference was the discipline and the lacklustre behaviour of our senior players, bar Wello who even though he is a donkey was the one player following up on the wonderful Jones/Percival play which secured our final try.

As in 2011, our young players are doing us proud. However, unlike 2011 we don't have Jammer kicking the senior players up the backside, and that is the bit which is killing us, not the fact that we are missing players. With youngsters like Jones and Percival who both consistently make breaks, even against the big teams, the focus has to be on those letting the side down: players like Wilkin (getting banned) and LMS (giving away endless penalties and going into hiding going forward).

And then there also has to be a question mark over Brown because our discipline overall is shocking and clearly he isn't addressing it.

After getting over my initial despair and frustration. As weird as it sounds today wasn't so bad. We dominated the second half , and it was just lack of some magic from the halves that was missing. I am convinced that Lomax would have won that for us on his own. Onwards and upwards

That line you quoted was not meant to be taken as a statement by itself, but in the context of the whole post. My post was that we're essentially losing every week now and while there are some valid reasons why we're struglling, even when chances appear for us to scrape the win, such as being 10-0 up, the coin is still failing to land Saints side up. We can only look on the bright side for so long.
