I knew they would all be back. Who does he think he is trying to kid. I expect Charnley try o be added to that squad come Thursday. That's when Wane said he would give them until to prove their fitness.

So from our starting 17, we're missing Amor and Lomax.
From theirs (arguably) Charnley, Green, McIlorum, Pettybourne, Farrell. I'm not sure either Goulding or Thornley would get in with the form of Sarginson and Gelling. Can't really count J Tomkins either at this point.

Laffranchi would also be in the starting 17.

Richards and Dawson to miss out for me. Based on the squads,this is our best chance to beat Wigan in a while.

The forwards have been challenged, what have they got?

Green, Farrell and Paddywack are significant losses and they might have a couple of players undercooked, need a high tempo game to stop them slowing down the ruck area.

And there's still a chance that Powell and Manfredi won't play.

I'll give you Farrell (although it's his own undoing that he's out), but Charnley & Goulding haven't played much this season anyway.

Mcillorum, Farrell and Green are the key players missing.

Goulding is joint 5th in appearances made, but to be fair if they were all fit I'd have Gelling and Thornley before him, but then I would have Charnley in before Manfredi.

Just as aside, if Doran plays he will be the most unlikely looking half back you will see, but he's not a bad player and won't let us down

Any particular reason for dropping Percival for Jones.

I just feel given the magnitude of the game Josh Jones is better equipped and more experienced than Percival. Nothing against Percival and I am sure he will develop into a good centre in the future but we need to win this week and the more experience we have the better

Percival has impressed me with his defence since his return & is improving physically. Crucially Percy breaks the line & has pace to burn so for me has to play as he offers strike in the backs. Jones is a back rower & IMO the negative option. Not opposed to him being in the 17 at all though.

So much for Wigan having 14 first team players out. What a load of bollox that was.

I think Percival and Swift are very difficult to defend against both having great footwork and speed. Percival has put on a few more kilos and looks better in defence this season.

I like Percival's bear hug style tackle. I also think he should play on Friday. He's hard to handle in attack and if Swift is fully fit then those two make a great pairing. Same with Turner (who had a good game on Sunday) and Makinson on the other side. We need all the strike threats we can muster. If our forwards aren't up for the fight/can't handle the fight again then we'll probably end up having to go wide a fair bit.

Percival started last week, and did absolutely nothing to get dropped, so he should start.

If Wigan pick holes in the flanks, Jones offers a safety net and is a bit "sturdier" - if not he can fill flanaghans "defensive" role

We need to attack this game rather rely on defence, I would be tempted to start With Flanaghan and Manu as second rows, these two were working out wide with our centres against Castlford and seemed to work OK. This leaves Soliola as the bench spot instead of Jones, as Walmsley, Richards and Thompson look certain starters.

What would be your starting pack then if Walmsley, Richards and Thompson all start the game?

I meant starters in the first 17, in saying that Walmsley could start the game with Mose on the bench.
