| Flash has made 87 tackles in two weeks after being away from first team action for 11 months. No way should he be dropped.
Whilst the lads were terrific on Friday, Leeds easily outstripped us for gaining yards and it's was only our determination that kept them out. It was a titanic effort that simply can't be done every week, but the senior players need to come back in for the most part. Hudds will be well pumped for this one.
Whilst Wello was very good on Friday and had a good game against Wakey, I don't particularly think he should be an automatic pick. Rather, I think it's asserted that his role should be a bit part one. We've hardly needed him when we've had a full complement, but when the chips are down and we needed some experience to galvanise a young team, then he's been sensational.
I'd go
Lomax
Makinson, Percival/Wheeler, Jones, Swift
Hohaia and Walsh
Amor Roby Walmsley
Flash Manu Greenwood
Masoe, LMS, Soliola, Wello
I tempted to name Wello for utility value, but I'd be equally happy to see them take Charnock.
Richards seemed to grow in stature as Friday's match went on. Perhaps it would a good idea to take him again to continue building.

Here here on all points - Flanno has earned the shirt with those performances. Walmsley Amor and Mose will give us big metres. Experience is so important in pressure cup games. The young lads will get further chances over easter and as we rotate forwards throughout the season.

| The more I think about it, the more I think that LMS shouldn't just stroll his way into the team.
Amor has been sensational so I have no problem with him coming in. It would certainly be a big confidence boost for the youngsters and a sure sign that if you play well you keep your shirt.

Don't get me wrong he stood up last Friday but was no better than walker, greenwood or any other young lad that played.
I don't believe in picking players because of who they ate or what they did for the club 3 years ago. We know wello was top class, we know wello puts his body on the line, we know wello is a saints great but that can't give him the edge over young lads who still making their names.
However, I do feel that wello has earned a bench spot next week when the likes of Amor, walmsley and Lms return.'"

Louie's form before his suspension was inconsistent. The likes of Amor can combine good tackle stats with 100+ metres. Louie can do the metres or the tackles but rarely combines the two. Furthermore he can give away a few too many penalties. The pressure is now on to deliver or move over. Hopefully he will respond to competition for his place.

| Given Walker got a bump on the nogging. You would assume he is out.
Some of the lads have had 2 games in a short period so I would reckon they would be rested.
I'd imagine Percival would be back. Is Turner due???
Lance earned his spot this week so if Walsh is back then Walsh and Lance.
For me assuming all fit.
Lomax Makinson Percival Dawson (thought he did well) Swift, Lance, Walsh
Amor Roby Walmsley Sia Manu Flash
Bench: Masoe, Laffranchi, Wellens (think he has earned his spot) Greenwood or Richards (they have earned their place too)

LMS may be the one I agree on leaving out. I've accidentally forgotten Boof.
Louis seems to get through the tackles, but seems to pick and choose his carries a bit too much.
I've forgotten Boof in my team selection above, which shows what good depth we have all of a sudden.

| I think it's safe to say that saints can afford to leave anyone out who is not bear 100% fit apart from Walsh who if he can play unless it's a lesser team you would have to play. After that performance though I would even be tempted to leave Walsh out of he's not near 100%
The guys are all up for it this year and playing for each other.
I'm on such a high with Saints this year.

Not necessarily. We are going to lose at some point, but it's the manner of the loss that will determine how far it goes to dull the sense of optimism.
I just can't see this side rolling over and having it's tummy tickled - for as long as that's proved right I'll have every confidence - even if we lose a couple.

Walker is ready to play. Wheather Brown and the medical staff agree is a another thing.

According to Brown in this weeks League Weekly, Walsh's recovery is "heading in the right direction" but he is not expected back in action so soon.
Turner is a still a major doubt for this week and Manu is likely to miss three weeks.
Wheeler and Percival are back in the frame but Walmsley could miss out again.
LMS and Amor are back from suspension.
I would go with:
Lomax
Makinson
Percival
Dawson
Swift
Hohaia
Wellens
Amor
Roby
Laffranchi
Flanagan
Soliola
Jones
Masoe
LMS
Walker
Greenwood

So at the moment I'd swap Manu out of my line up and Jones back in.

| Watching the sky prgrammes, Carney's been quite critical of Huddersfield defence out tward the edge channels. Hopefully Manu, Sia and Greenwod if involved will have some real joy.
I do wonder/fear whether playing against their former coach may be the extra inspiration that the Giants need to get themselves going again.

Both their centres are out which is the cause of that I believe.
If Huddersfield play to their best, we'll struggle, especially if Walsh isn't fit. But a record of 2 wins from 7 for Huddersfield suggests they have not started this season as rock solidly as they have previous seasons.
Their own fans seem to be critical of their pack, with only Crabtree doing any real work, so we should be able to dominate there. The worry is a fired up Huddersfield with Brough on form could steamroller us.

| Crabtree doesnt run his size at all. Amor and Walmesley are far better than anything they've got in the pack. If those two get rolling we should be fine

| I do fear the worst for this game, although we are on great form the Huddersfield team on paper is good enough to beat us combined with the fact we could still be missing Walsh, with two proper halves and a decent pack not to mention us not often playing are best there i can see a narrow victory for them.

Good Tactic for this week would be to be attack the centres and B defenders ,
lots of short side plays.
Plus bomb the F*** out of Grix and for territorial kicks , kick to Grix rather than
either McGillvery/Broughton starving them of ball.
A narrow basic game worked perfectly last week. Don't think those tactics can
simply be repeated.
Dawson and Jones need to see plenty of ball.
