From the min the draw was made I know Brown had his mind on it which is pretty obvious. We only get one chance in the CC.

That's why winning at Cas and Wakey was so important and why I for one didn't want to throw kids out to rest players as those wins are now important with our bad Easter.

At the end of the season if we've a good cup run and play off run, easter will be well worth it

Charnock played for the 19s vs Leeds at fullback, have no idea whether it's a regular thing, but it's worth not breaking up turner and makinson. Whilst their understanding in attack is good their communication in defence seemed dire. Give them some time to work on it.

If I had my way Galbraith would be ahead of Dawson on the other wing, but I know that's unlikely to happen.

Wilkin and hohaia gives us the experience to drive around the park. Between them they need to take the game and lead the team. I've been very critical of both for being unable to, and with the inexperience elsewhere they're going to have to.

Right now, LMS needs to know he is behind Forster in terms of effort, and we have kids good enough to take the shirt off his back.

Big game for masoe and greenwood. Both are going to be our go to forwards for the first time.

Its all about Leeds i'm afraid. Happy with the squad.

If we treat him like Feka, and only expect 20 minutes a game, we will end up with Feka mrk II, if we treat him like the player he can be, I'm sure he can recapture his NRL form. Every single player should be able to back up if absolutely required - it's always the game after Easter where standards drop and players are tired.

As a side note, Mose was clutching his ankle during the jordan turner no try, and he did vs Leeds as well, so it's clearly still bothering him (whether psychologically or physically only the physios can say) - playing is the only way to get over it

He will be very much used in shorter spells with Sav I should imagine, the other fresher younger forwards to do the bulk of the work

I agree. The cc draw not done us any favours. If we'd got a team like Hunslet then I'd imagine we'd put a strong team out and rest a few the following week.

Not looking too good for tomorrow. We'll just have to hope that the Widnes players are tired as they seem to be close to full strength. I know we do have to rest players for the Leeds game but we don't exactly want to build up any negative momentum.... I'd have picked a slightly more balanced side I think.

The other consideration is of course the widnes iPitch - the last thing we need is to pick up 10 first choice players picking up knocks before Leeds.

There are the players in that team to win the game, widnes are on their own bad run of form, we just need to not give them easy opportunities (especially in the first minute)

They only have one doubt. The guy who kicks off has a sore foot from Good Friday.
