A qunis player just got a 6 match ban for a bite and a eye gouge is a lot worse. He could have seriously damaged his eye or even blinded him.

He's got a poor previous record which includes pushing the ref andva two tear drug ban.

It seems the Wigan club are giving rugby league bad press at the moment.

Gareth Hock was disgusting. It's bad enough that he looks as ugly as he does but to attempt an eye gouge and then an upper cut just shows what a thug he is. I thought Silverwood was wise not to discipline him on the field as there was very little time left. That means the RFL SHOULD ban him.

They should ban Ratboy too for the kick on the touchline. He tried to weasle out of it by saying he was defending the line but I can't see how that can be used as a defence as players are taught from the outset not to do that due to the risk of injury.

I think Wigan were shown up today to be the dirty team most fans have seen all season.

Not to mention hair pulling on mat king.

I suggest anyone who finds hocks behaviour shocking to go to the RFL site and make a official complaint. This guy is a disgrace to rugby league.

Personally, I'm not remotely bothered what Wigan fans think! Sick and tired of hearing about them and from them. We've had a belly full of Wigan fans since we lost the CC semi. Maybe they will stay away for a little while now that Warrington have totally taken them apart.

I'd like to see Warrington win the shield as I think they've been the best team all season and so they deserve it. But they will have a big tussle on Friday against Hull as Hull are on a roll at present.

Hull have really hit there straps over the last month or so and IMO will heat Warrington and the pies will snatch top spot.

Be a Shame if the pies take top spot as Warrington have played the game how it should be played.

Only one club in super league could give a heroes welcome on returning from a two year drugs ban.

I'm not saying he didn't deserve acsecond chance because he does and he'd served the time but to be given a heroes return is unreal.

Very harsh on Newton that! Granted he was Wigan through and through. But show some humanity, the man took his own life at such a tender age, leaving behind a wife and two children.

I'll take you six match ban on hock and raise you a two match ban for tomkins. Simply for being Tomkins. That would have a greater impact on the match than anything they throw at hock.
