| With Smith as VR there was no way the decisions were going our way.The guy is blatantly biased against us.
Well done Foster-nerves of steel to kick that penalty.
In the second half we wasted virtually every set in their 25 (and there weren't many) with sloppy play eg throwing passes 20 metres as if it was a dry day.Shame the weather was so bad as on a dry day I am sure we would have hammered them

| Should the club formally complain? Seemed like Royce was steaming about it. Daniel Anderson would have slandered his whole family tree in the post match interview if he had been around for that.

| God knows why Cummings gave him a job as VR.
He was inept as a ref and is just the same now as a VR.

| The Wigoons have the same problem with Phil Bentham, maybe Cummings has a club handicap system. Each ref selects a team to be biased on for 5 year term or something.

| The RFL have apparently confirmed that Bradford's first try was scored on their 7th tackle. Investigating it now, according to Twitter.

No smoke without fire, and all that.
If found to be accurate and acted upon, what would that mean? Would we be awarded the extra point due to the try, if taken away, would affect the result, or just a fine/talking to.

| I didnt think the first one was a try but he should of at least been given the benefit of doubt as it did look like the ball was lifted.

They certainly won't change the result. They will no doubt make nothing public and give Childs £250 worth of gift vouchers and a pat on the back for trying.
I think we did it earlier in the season when we beat Cas at home didn't we?

SKY removed their banner at the bottom of the screen on the previous tackle, which they had deemed the last, so there could be something in it. Not that the result will be changed or anything, but you would have thought one of our lads would have questioned it at the time.

Probably, would be hilarious if they gave us a 14-8 win though, just to hear the reaction....they were mad enough losing one point!
That was a back to one thing, Cas player played at a little kick through, we retained the ball and promptly scored, setting up the Wide to Meli moment....

Nah, it was back to one.
I think we should be compensated for the Bradford seventh tackle try though. I'd suggest Bradford can keep their one point but we should be given an extra point as they would not have been ahead had they not been given that try from the fourth dimension.
An extra point. That would do me.

| They're not going to give us a point. It sets a dangerous.precedent.
How long will it take them investigate it. I'll do it for them.
Twenty metre restart
Tackle 1 Lynch
Tackle 2 Kopczak
Tackle 3 Langley
Tackle 4 Sibbit
Tackle 5 Lynch
Tackle 6 Jeffries
Then a kick.
I can't wait for 'never do wrong' cummings' response

| Am I right in thinking that Lomax's try was dissallowed for obstruction, even thought the obstructed defender managed to land a full whack on him only to bounce off?
Or was there someone else who was obstructed?

exactly, we are never going to get the point awarded to us, but the admission of a major mistake of a referee, with the ref and his touch judges, plus the video ref - who each should have spotted his mistake - getting a demotion for a couple of weeks would be a start.

Definately not an obstruction. The defending player didnt come into contact with the Saints obstructor (Dixon?) and, like you say, even managed to make an attempted tackle on Lomax.
Both those tries should have been awarded, meaning that the score could have been 16/18 nil at that point.

It certainly wasn't obstruction, the defender ignored Dixon and went for and got the right man. Just he hit him in the neck and couldn't do much to stop him by doing that.
I'm not sure Lomax managed to ground the ball however. Smith didn't even run the tape through, he'd made his mind up as soon as Childs put the square in the air.

| I know we won't get the point back but at the end of the season that could cost us a place in the jostle for home and away ties etc. It would have taken us above the pies on the league table. Could be very costly to us - but never write the saints off. ( No matter how hard they try to put us down)

Just watched the play again on the Superleague Show, looked an OK try for me. Dixon didn't make contact with anybody and Lomax didn't "shepherd" either. So that was 12 points chalked off by I. Smith.

| I have just looked at the RFL website on the Disciplinary section.
I was expecting too see
J Child - Charge - Unable to count.
T Martin (or it may have been P Marklove) - Charge - Blind in charge of a touch judges flag.
Sadly neither of them are up before the "committee"
