I wouldn't. He appeared to spend a lot of time there last week, we didn't look any better than we did when Roby was there.

Great avatar.
And thus, the weakness of our backline is exposed.

Like Ski said with a couple of injuries we look weak in the backline.
Is Chris Dean fit ? if he is then him or Foster I would say should play centre as that is there position.
Wheeler is a Standoff and I guess he is a the number 1 backup standoff for us so he should fill that roll

Wheeler was tipped pre season as the next great hope at centre.

Whilst I conceed we do have a thin squad, alot of teams would struggle with the number of missing players we have.
Meli, Pryce, Eastmond, Flannery (can play in the backs).

As Ski mentioned, great avatar. I've sat here for ten minutes trying to fathom what possible context the original picture could have? Why would said woman be desperately reaching for flying sausage?
Leeds rested 13 of their starting 17 against Cas last year, and still won. We are sitting ducks with only three or four out. Our lack of strength in depth is obvious.

It is a fair assumption. The guy disappears for a time every match, and not because he is being spelled.

Out of all of them, I trust one at centre. 'Appen his ego is too big for him to stand aside for the good of the team.

True, I was thinking of the most like-for-like replacement in the squad.

Will Pryce suck his ego in?
Again, pre season, Wheeler was the next great hope at centre.

No way he will.

| Armstrong?
He's reportedly a centre and has had first team experience. Maybe shift Gardner to his wing (he has played there after all) and put a youngster on the other wing outside Gidley.
If Pryce is fit, he must go in at SO for me, Long doesn't have the legs any more and I don't see the point of moving the best stand off of the last 2 or 3 years to a position that he both dislikes and is far less effective in.

maybe but I think it was always seen as a stepping stone and a way to get him game time while we have Leon locking down the standoff role, He is the natural choice to play standoff and should be playing there when Leon isnt fit or is rested

Sounds good, it can only do a massive confidence boost for whoever plays outside Gidley.

What evidence do you have that Pryce's ego prevents him from playing anywhere other than 6?
He moved to Saints because he wanted to play there, but that's understandable, given that it's his favourite position and that Nobby was playing him all over the shop at Bradford.
Perhaps the coach just thinks 6 is where he serves the team best (I'd be inclined to agree).

IF he has an ego and refuses then he should come off.
It shouldn't be about sucking his ego on, Harry tells him to go centre and he does, otherwise bring him off.
