I will be honest guys I watch quite a bit of Leigh this guy is no Walmsley. I personally think we have got better in the system. And yes I was at Leigh today.

I think Brown has with the forwards and Percival.

Well to be fair the Leigh fans are saying he's probably a better prospect than Chris Hill and are genuine about his quality.

He was very impressive against us at the DW in the Challenge Cup.

I think Brown can be credited with bringing through Percy, Walmsley, Greenwood, Walker, Thompson, and to lesser extents Charnock and Hand, by giving them a chance in the first team.

Seems to try hard to blood them but protect them as much as possible

And that's the hard balance.
Personally I think browns done a good job of it

I hope the lad does well at whatever club. What I will say look at his body shape and compare and contrast it to Hill and Walmsley he would be a two year project in comparison.

Onething that strikes me about players "in the know" in these situations is that Hopkins is not going to want to be badgered by everyone who thinks he should go to their club, so he probably make a few non-committal comments like "yeah, Saints are a great club, I'd be interested if they made me an offer." to get people of his back. Next thing is that he's [idefinatley coming[/i.

If he'd said something to the press, or indeed a member of the club that was negotiating his signing, then that's another matter, but I'm afraid players must be victim to the rumour mill just as we are.

Lets get things in perspective. Saints Wigan Warrington and soon Widnes will all be throwing their hats at a handful of players at local Championship clubs. You win some you lose some, Alex looks a winner Chris Hill looks a winner and I hope Hopkins turns out the same.

Wigans conditioning team seems to be lightyears ahead of ours, maybe that is a big reason for him moving?

Been saying this a few times this season. One of the main factors of our poor season is most of the team are out of condition, most of the time we look lethargic and can,t switch on for 80 mins. Could this be the reason we are picking up injuries through being so unfit in the first place.
The current top 4 teams play with lots of energy we can only do that for 10 mins and then the battery needs charging.

I think that's got more to do with our appalling game management than our fitness. We're getting tired because we're always either defending or trying to clear our line.

We also don't have a player that can lift us, someone like graham that does that big run or makes the big hit. Them sort of things lift other players and gives teams energy.

I don't disagree that Wane has confidence in youth, I just don't think Brown has been that bad in bringing youth through this season at Saints.

He's not been bad but its been mostly forced on Brown.
