To be honest I'm too old these days to believe any rumour until it turns out to be the truth. I'm just sharing what I heard and must confess to having a degree of scepticism given the number of HB's they have. They could be using him as an interchange 9 however.

Taking a step I think you have to sign a player who is off the radar. There is a lot of interest in Sneyd at the moment which you would expect will attract attention and make Salford think they have a valuable commodity.

Chances are if you can get Sneyd to sign and Salford to release him chances are you are going to pay over the odds for what he is and we have already done that with Michael Shenton. You would hope that the club would we wise and not go for the shiniest diamond in the shop.

There are other players around at the moment that would be worth a punt and we could get a lot more affordable. Wigans signings of Bateman and Sarginson are great example of signing good players out of the spotlight on sensible wages.

Sorry tone is never transferred well in words. I would not doubt that Lance maybe on the move and that Salford may sign him. But they seem a little top heavy in halves.

I would assume that there will be no error this time like 3 years ago, if we let Lance go, then someone else must be lined up to come in.

Lance to Salford was a rumour at the start of the year, koukash confirmed on twitter that saints were open to enquiries about him, but no terms had been agreed - I'd be surprised if anything has changed, but stranger things have happened.

Just can't see Lance coming to Salford with the options we have in the positions he plays. I could see Noble going for him as he loves a knackered player, but I think since Harris has come over it'll be a none starter. You can have Meli back if you want?

gone to Hull FC for a 6 figure fee. I would have liked to see him at Saints, but I can see why we weren't interested at those prices.

If as rumoured we need a replacement for Walsh should we be looking at Miller now he seems surplus to Hull.
