Bisto and Mr Kipling are both Premier Foods. But aren't they Cadbury? That would be better.

We're going to be putting together afternoon tea at this rate.

This was also reported in this month's Forty20 magazine (they did an article on our kit and the process clubs go through when planning their kits).

Well it's looking very likely we have our name for the new stadium. The signs going up today read 'Langtree Park'

The stadium or the whole development? I can't see the stadium name going up in print before the announcement.

The area is supposed to be called Langtree Park but we could still have that as a stadium name. We will just have to wait and see what comes out at the press conference tomorrow. The name would have to go up before the naming so that it can be unveiled.



On the actual main Entrance it says 'LANGTREE PARK' The road leading up to the stadium from PX is called McManus Drive. The road signs are up for all to see.

The whole site is called Stadium Industry Park.

It happened at Wigan with Central Park a couple of weeks ago. They put the signs up and then covered them before the "official announcement" However some people happened too see them before they were covered.

What are Saints like with ruining announcements? At least it isn't a politician we can abuse this time.

Depends who is putting the sign up. If it's the council/highways agency/whoever then they aren't really concerned with publicity stunts.

If it's the club putting the signs up, then it's shambolic.

Most naming ceremonies go ahead after the name is known. It will still be shown in the press at the official ceremony.

Not very , The Guy has kept the club in existence for God knows how many Years , Put in loads of his own money , I think Mr McManus deserves far more than a road naming after him, freedom of St Helens possibly? , and quite frankly your negativity over EVERYTHING , to do with the stadium is getting tedious in the extreme, Its an amazing achievement and i think the vast majority of fans, at least the ones i`ve met walking around the place cant wait to get in there and make it ours, but maybe you can sit outside and complain about something, maybe the grey isnt the right shade or possibly the stadium is a bit too far to the left !!

Maybe Mr McManus didn't know anything about it?

That would be my guess.

I think it's great that his name goes on the driveway! Without him neither the new stadium nor the club would exist today. This is the least that should be done in recognition of the input he has had to Saints. And if the stadium does take off as a local venue - which I sincerely hope it does - then he could also have a significant input into bringing something positive to the town as a whole.

It's looking seriously like the new stadium name is Langtree Park. If it is then that is great. Classy name.

Negative? Me? You sure you've got the right poster here? I have never been negative about the stadium.
