This game seems to have become more of a 'can't lose' for Saints, tather than a 'must win' for Warrrington. Strange.

I think youll win by a 8 point margin, and mr Eastmond will have the final say on matters.

I have to admit - I hear a lot on these forums about how Warrington fans are big headed, that we say it's going to be our year every year... In fact, I read it so often that I actually kind of believe it to an extent.

The problem is, I don't actually know any of these Warrington fans (maybe I only hang around with the cynical old gits who have been watching far too long to hope for success?), and I clearly don't read other clubs' forums often enough to see for myself this army of Warrington fans telling the world how great we are... All I see actually are the odd clearly bat5hit crazy, over-excitable teenager post something along the lines of "wolves r guna smash yoos l0l!!!!!11111"

As for tonight - I'm hoping, desperately I'll admit, for a win .... but I'm expecting a close game, with a last minute try from Eastmond to rob us of victory once more.

I think some Saints fans actually invent 'phantom cocky wire fans' ...just to justify coming on our board after the match to say 'ha ha beat you again you bellends'..truth is the majority of Warrington fans go into the games against saints with the realistic view that to win is going to be a massive effort and unlikey.

Don't get me wrong - every club has its fair share of s and a majority of decent fans - you and us alike.

However, being a Saints fan living in Warrington, the amount of noise along the lines of "We are now the best team in the league" from some Wire fans of long standing (as well as those who don't even know where the HJ is, never mind Wilderspool) is amazing......the latest barrage of such nonsense being spouted at me last night.

Yes, Warrington are miles better than they were; yes, you have got a decent set up managerially (not just Smith, but the other guy from Leeds as well who is responsible for the young lads but whose name escapes me) yes you have made some excellent signings instead of the 75% turnover in playing roster you used to see in the off season from Wire, most of whom were useless..........etc etc.

However, being silent about it isn't my experience of Wire fans at the moment.

Let's just hope we have a good game tonight - as exciting as the Wire v Wigan game.........and with the same (and usual!) result - a Wire loss

You really think it was that simple?

I've only listened to the game on Radio Manchester but you got the feeling the Wire comeback really came on the back of Saints taking their eye off the ball and that bar that 8 minute spell it was a pretty convining St Helens victory.

Like I say it's only radio commentry so i'm in no real position to judge.

Can't believe how pleased I am to see Saints win tonight. Good to see you knock Warrington down a peg or two.
