Definatly should be on there. Length of time isn't everything, IMO. Fairleigh was a class act, and left a mark on the club.

Ask Bill Bates, Alex Service and Dave Dooley for their opinions. I'd rely less on their views on recent players but they may be able to offer some from years ago e.g. Alf Ellaby.

We have too many real legends to be putting one-season players on such a flag i.e. if Farleigh or Meninga appeared ahead of a Prescott, Ward, Newlove or Huddart would be just plain wrong.

Looking at Ski's attempt, I reckon you could fit around 30 faces on his design.

I'm not sure I could pick 30 because of my lack of knowledge of the older players but might have a go. One person I'd put on it though is Legendary Supporter to represent our nod to our fans. It would be sad to not recognise the contribution that we and our forefathers have made to this great club. Alternatively the supporter face could be raffled off to fund the flag or to buy kit for some of the local kids teams. £5 per ticket for a place in Saints folklore. It's a winner!
