Now that the great news is out i am pleased to say you can hear Steve's thoughts on his MBE live on Sky Sports New at 0930 in the Morning Friday 31st Dec.

Steve will then be interviewed at the Saints Club Shop Town Centre and that will be shown on the Sky News Bulletins from Midday onwards.

Please get yourself down to the Club Shop at 1000am to congratulate Steve personally and get your Calendar signed or buy another one.

Granada have also interviewed Steve today but i dont know when this will be shown.

The Daily Mirror will also be doing a piece in tomorrows paper.

This is what has has been agreed with the TV and Media but things can change.

Everything he has achieved since his diagnosis speaks volumes for the sort of guy he is.This award is thoroughly deserved recognition of the magnificent efforts of a modest,unassuming man who's thoughts,in his darkest hour,immediately turned to trying to help others.Steve is one of those people who restores my faith in humanity in a world now governed by the "I'm alright,sod you" attitude.

Steve will be guest of Honour at the Saints v Hull Game.

He will receive a presentation from Saints at Half Time and then take part in the Crossbar Challenge.

He will also say a big thank you to both sets of fans who have supported him throughout his career illness and charity work.

The Foundation with the help of the Wildcat Dolls will be holding a Bucket collection outside the entrances at Knowsley Road on Saturday.

This will be to support Steve's attempt on this years London Marathon were he aims to break his father Eric's record of 4 hours 30 minutes. In 2008 he missed this objective by 2 minutes.

Thank you everyone for your continued support it does make a difference.
