This happens at the start of every season for you. You lose some stinkers and annoyingly improve at the end of the season.
Royce had the same criticism at the start last season and you came good in the end. Your forwards on paper and fully fit
should be bossing things around with any pack. Take the pressure of your side and give them chance to gell.

every year at the start of the season you lot are asking for changes. Give Royce some time and give the players some time.
They're the same side which got you to the GF beating Wigan twice on the way with the additions of lafrank, hoha and a josh perry
who'll return to full fitness soon. JG is a massive miss but give the new players chance to settle in and things will change- they
have every other time year after year.

Tricky one next week with bulls away. they played really well v us last week and potter will have them at least
as fired up, if not more. It's one of those season changing games where saints need to man up and I think
they will.

Come off it - Laffranchi and Hohaia have had no time whatsoever to bed in. Overseas signings often require a lot of patience. Consider Willie Talau - it took him the best part of twelve months before he started turning in the kinds of performances that made him such a good player in the NRL. Hell, even Jamie Lyon needed ten or so games to bed in.

Clough is a great third/fourth prop - [ibut not if the first choice duo aren't functioning[/i. Ditto, LMS. As for Wilkin, how many times must he prove himself before fans take him seriously?

Flanaghan is good player, we have quite a few of them actually but we have a poor coach.

If Wigan hadn't won the Challenge Cup and had two props missing then those games would have been ours.

How much time do you need to spot a poor player? Laffranchi is an average backrower. In a top side he'd be a relatively unnoticed workhorse. At prop for a team floundering? It looks pathetic. He's not up to playing prop.

Hohaia is a tramp's Rob Burrow. Tiny and nippy so looks relatively dangerous at times. Defensively inept and a complete waste of a signing.

I think bringing Mr Hock back was more of a disruption to your momentum than anything.

There have been some on the Leeds board who have held Saints up as a shining example of squad management compared to how Leeds have done things over the last few seasons.

Anyone who jumps to overblown conclusions based on a handful of games has no credibility.

I'm not that impressed by Wilkin this year so far. He's a senior player but he isn't taking the lead. His defensive input has dropped and he has been caught napping more than once. Last year he was outstanding.

Mark Flanagan, I can even spell his name, is an average rugby player that Wigan let go without a fight.

I watched him in the Wigan academy side and he was distinctly average. Good tackler, but nothing going forward.

If his dad hadn't have been a mate of Brian Nobles then Mark Flanagan would have been been playing for Batley or the ilk by now.

He's had a few quiet games. But every player goes through similar. Given his sterling service (and the fact that he's now in his prime) it's silly to write him off on such meagre evidence. And let's not forget this is a testimonial year. Many a decent player's form has slipped for a month or two during such.

The trouble is, EMcM has spent @ loads on a fantastic stadium, the whole town have got behind them and made good on their promise by turning up in drives for season tickets only to find they eye has been well and truly taken off the ball when it comes to the product on the field. Anyone with premier sports last season would tell you Laffranchi was another club man and wouldn't fill Jammers shoes, but let's face it, who could? It just seems none of the front towers can play longer than 15min spells, but I did see LMS ask KC why he'd been subbed, and KC said he didn't know.
