Best pack we've had in a long time!

Funny really. When I said after the Grand Final - we won it because we have the best pack in the league everyone thought I was watching another Saints...

Our pack has a great mix and balance, every forward offering something different which means we are not a stereotype pack.
I did like the tactic of Lance doing the first 30 mins, I,m hoping we can use the dual hookers play in a bit more games, gives Roby a chance to get back to peak form.

Wouldn't swap our pack for anyone's this season.

Can't remember the last pack that achieved dominance over yours?? About late Feb if that rings any bells sir? your pack was very good last night and deserved the win.

All seemed a bit easy really I thought. Only poor part was that we let them make it look respectable. One of those games where both sets of players, fans, coaches etc will be under no illusions as to just how dominant Saints were. A fairer scoreline would have been 40-12 or something.

Walmsley was sensational last night. MoM by a mile for me.

Vea was a real handful last night and I don't think he made a single error (which seems to be his weakness).

Greenwood was fanstastic. Great lines in attack, aggressive defence. I especially liked it when Westwood tried knocking heads with him and was left on the ground.

as fans said defence was great all the match apart when they tried to play cachtup with 2 tries with which they went thro our defence like a hot knife thro butter a bit tardy that no wonder Wello was miffed.but a good all rounder performance from the lads.Hohahai played well hope KCkeeps that combination until injuries.any news on Greenwood.

It's a bit like one hand clapping, but it was a very dominant display which is why I kept chucking things when we let them back into it with some real lapses in concentration.

Lance with 23 tackles and no misses made a complete fool out of Stevo and his pre match waffle,it was far better watching the last few weeks without all the crap he talks.

I think people are harsh on stevo, he's passionate about the game, but I don't think he would ever make a coach.

I thought last night Eddie seemed to have picked up on the chatter about how they are always going on about penalties on Sky as he just told him to drop it, and get on with the game.

Stevo plays a game. He says stuff for effect and gets people talking. He talks rubbish but been good for rugby on sky over the years.

I met him before our game at the new Wembley against catalan. Everybody knew we was going to win and would have to be bad to lose but he was tipping catalan just for the effect.

Those stats just show how one sided the contest was physically.

Hill was quieter than usual, Simms was a bit of a donkey and Westwood was totally ineffective.

Those team stats are quite similar, though nearly 200 of their metres came from 2 length of field breaks that we stopped

The good thing is he doesn't panic. I've seen many a forward throw a daft speculator in such circumstances.

He concentrates on getting the maximum advantage for the minimum risk.

So he should be as he was partly responsible for one of them along with Roby and Burns - ie three of our most experienced players. All done by a Chris Hill dummy! Bet they all felt foolish.

Let's be honest, there wasn't a single spectator in the ground or on T.V. that believed he was capable of that. To be fair it was a flaming good dummy.

He probably spent the first 78 minutes of the game thinking it over in his head. I mean, he wasn't doing anything else.
