1) Great fullback, still one of the best in SL, but one of the slowest, it wouldn't be so much of a problem but our wingers are nearly as slow so he's becoming exposed.

6) Pryce is out of form and looking a bit lazy, no doubt he has it but isn't showing it in the last few games.

7) Long is gone/going and Eastmond needs time and a decent run without injuries which isn't happening. Great talent though and he should get his big chance next year.

9) KC is retiring and no doubt still has it, but to be honest we need to bring Moore back as the long term replacement. Better to have KC retire than risk losing Moore who has been more than patient waiting for his chance. Roby is just back from injury.

13) Clough, Flannery, Wilkin. Take your pick, all good players but nobody is our set loose forward and nobody is as good as Scully was.

So our 1,6,7,9 and 13 all have problems at present.

Webb, McGuire, Burrow, Diskin and Sinfield are still the solid dependable spine of Leeds which is why Leeds surely must be favourites for a three timer.

A 25 year old Lockyer would do nicely.

Serious question - what were these big games Anderson prepared us so well for in his first season (with a much bigger and better squad than Potter, in a less competitive league)?

Some people support teams in football or rugby to moan. They like nothing better than to complain about anything and everything.

IF we win its a boring win, or Meli knocked on, or that player is poor. If we lose is the entire team, the chairman, the coach who are all at fault.
Its a wonder such people ever get through life. They must be so miserable.
Then again i suspect they blame anyone and everyone for their ills rather than look closer to home.

I remember us signing DA and me thinking, uh oh, why, this guy alienates players and folks dont want to play for him... I think the majority wanted the other Anderson to come and coach us, but with his heart condition it wasnt goign to happen. I remember when we announced the signign of slick mick, i was over joyed, having seen what he had done at catalans with a team of nobody's. DA's first season saw fans have a moan N groan at him, then the rest became history as he led us on a merry dance year after year to final after final... Mick isnt happy at the moment, he doesnt think the team are doing what he is asking them to do, lets see if he can correct that.

From the rumours about three other senior players wanting to move from Saints on top the the ones we already know about perhaps he's organising a clear out!!!!!

I,m not buying in to this "lack of speed", if we are that slow how come we have the best attack and 2nd best defence in the league.
We have scored 25% more tries thant our nearest challenger, and most of these have been creative tries and not from kicks like the majority of teams.
Saints advantage has always been speed of thought and instinctive plays from our pivotal players, and as half of these are injured we become more predictable.....and not lack of speed.

We've never been that quick apart from the odd individual. But we've not got anyone in the side capable of finishing the half breaks. Darren Albert would make us a far, far better side.
