With players like thurston it's less of a risk as he has done it at every level.

Thats a good point. I personaly think sentiment is playing a part.
Just like how Sean is keeping the kicking duties. Despite Wheeler kicking one from the touch line against Catalans at KR. How far is he off breaking our totall points record ? |

Looks like the Dobson rumour is put to bed. Not signed yet but says he'll be staying at Hull KR for a few years to come. I know people on here had mixed views about whether you'd want him anyway, but I think I'll be one of many relieved Robins today.

Dobson is doing well in the team he is in. Saints have a number of good young players coming through to play at 7. I think this is a case of Dobsons agent talking him up or Saints trying to unsettle Rovers. |

Dobson is nothing special. A world-class scrum half (as good as Lyon in his position) I could JUST accept. I'd feel sorry for the kids, but players like that don't come along every week. Anything less and I'd be furious with the club. To spend years of hard work developing a superb junior development scheme and then favour signing an average plodder would be criminal.

To be honest I've not seen much of him and when I have he not done much.
