could just as easily not get banned as a 1 match ban would be reduced to 0 with egp

That would be a Grade A offence not Grade B.
If you submit EGP then you get the lower number. So for a Grade B, an EGP will mean 1 match.

Doesn't work like that unfortunately. An EGP is still a guilty plea and so will automatically attract punishment. Had the charge been Grade A then Amor would have received a fine only. But with it being a Grade B, he simply gets the lower of the range which is a one match ban.
I'm really annoyed at Jon Wilkin. He knew we depended on him in the absence of Luke Walsh. Why couldn't he have been disciplined for once?

With the amount of the refs are super biased against us sad face sad face mud he was flinging some of it was bound to stick.
Given Amors lack of a record, reckless action, he might MIGHT get away with an egp and 0 games, but I wouldn't hold my breath ...
Well, if Nathan Ashe can beat Leeds ....

| I think Amor will take the EGP and miss Leeds. We risk losing him for the cup game as well if he doesn't use the EGP.
I don't expect us to win Friday so might as well let Amor have a rest.

I agree on the last bit. It was a stupid moment of madness from him. Very disappointing.

I'd go for;
Lomax
Makinson Jones Percival Swift
Wheeler Charnock
Laffranchi Roby Masoe
Flanaghan Manu
Wellens
Hohaia Soliola Walmsley Richards/Thompson
With greenwood stepping in if one of soliola or Manu isn't fit. Tell masoe to "smile" at peacock, and I wouldn't fancy our chances masoe vs burrow (who I imagine will start on the bench) so I'd give him the start. Tell jones to stick to Watkins like a limpet and make sure he has as little space as possible, lance is the ultimate utility and wanted in the NRL to play him in the 14 shirt, and we should use him that way too, if one of wheeler or charnock doesn't work out he can step in, else spell him with Roby so you can tell him to go all out and tackle anything that moves (as well as being able to do a job in the centres if needed) - similar tactics to the playoff game, keep it tight, focus on defence, and hope a few plays come off. We still have Roby and lomax who are game winners, but it's an uphill battle now

Do you think NB will gamble on Charnock? I haven't seen him so can't comment but Brown is quoted somewhere as saying he doesn't feel he's ready yet.
I think he'll go with Wello and Lance as there are simply no guarantees Wheeler will make it safely out of the dressing room.

I guess there's little choice, we simply can't get away without multiple kicking options vs Leeds, he had a very good game in the academy last week (scored 2 and created a couple) and he has to make the step up at some point. Nathan brown likes to target games though so I'm sure he'll have a plan. Charnock would be the choice I would take.
Saddened: yes, Wilkin will almost certainly get a 2 game ban assuming he's found guilty (which they always are) - I've just gone through the disciplinary outlines and can't find a single area he can use to apply for leniency.

You know what, I agree entirely. One thing Millward knew how to do was win trophies. If we did that, we can't lose the moral battle, we retain the unbeaten status as they've not even played our first team.

I would imagine so since he doesn't have a leg to stand on and it isn't even 12 months since he last tried to decapitate someone.

Whilst not our best line up. It's none too shabby. I reckon they could make a decent fist of it.
At home you are always going to get more calls off the ref, so we just need to be able to capitalize on that when they come.
Roby will need to run his blood to water so having Lance on the bench will let him go full tilt, whilst he is on.

| Sorry if I've missed it, but is Walmesley definitely back this week? Huge boost if true. Without him and Kyle, I don't give us much hope.
Taking everything into account I'd go:
Lomax
Makinson
Jones
Percival
Swift
Hohaia
Wheeler
Walmesley
Roby
Laffranchi
Manu
Flanagan
Wellens (He'll defo start against Leeds)
Soliola
Masoe
Greenwood
Walker
That's being optimistic and hoping that Wheeler, Percy, Manu, Alex and Lance are fit. If they're all out........God knows. Still a very competitive side considering we'd be missing such influential players in Wilkin, Walsh and Amor.

If Leeds were missing Sinfield, Peacock and Leulieu, they'd obviously be weakened, but I still wouldn't be over confident.
