The is no doubt about it, TP is a prop. People think because he lines up at loose in the scrum at he's loose forward but effectively he's a extra prop and plays as a prop.

| If he demands big money you'd probably let him leave. You've had some awesome younger players plugging the gap in the halves to be honest. And they'll not command any salary.

Pryce is one of the few players in SL that can be an absolutely devastating threat when on the field.
Gaskell's done exceptionally well given his baptism of fire, and I would already consider him a SL standard player, but the difference in the side's movement when Pryce came on last week was very noticable. That's even before you consider the high level of individual threat Pryce has.

I've been told the same by others in fairness. If he stays fit, I've no doubt he'll be instrumental in helping Saints into finals.

All of sudden we look like we've got a very dangerous backline. Eastmond may have defensive drawbacks at FB, but they're far out weighed by what he brings. Pryce coming back boosts us in more than a couple of areas. Add that to the excellent form of Lomax and Meli and we're cooking with gas.
The other stumbling blocks is to get our completetion rate back to were it was a couple of months ago and see if we can match the big game intensity up front that shalacked us in the last Wigan game. If we can do that, we have every chance of taking home a trophy this year...
...IF.

I've said all year (and been shot down by your fellow fans in the process) that once your squad stabilises from all the injuries then you're as big a chance of winning a final this year as us or Wigan.
You've sort of flown under the radar it seems, getting enough points to stay in the race despite the amount of players that have been out. Impressive.

| Bradford sign Luke Gale as Half Back for next season with Mark Herbert, also have Brett Kearney as cover.
Although Catalan is his likely destination this possibly rules Bradford out.
IMO Saints are probably waiting to see how his come back goes before commiting themselves although I've heard from quite a few people "in the know" that he's leaving.

This. All the signs say he is going, sadly. If he hasn't actually put pen to paper, then we are still in with a chance.

I think if we could get a big game mentality on a final day, we could gear up and match Wire's power and perhaps win through - a bit like we used to do to Bradford after they'd shalacked us the week before (or indeed, the way Leeds did to us once). However, I think Wigan are too far ahead of us in game smarts. Wire may have the extra power to take it to them, but they're still a tougher call for us, I think.

| Unless Saints know something about his injuries that we don't, it's one of the single worst decisions Big Mac will have made, letting Pryce go. If he's fully fit now, it's tantamount to waving the white flag when it comes to our title aspirations next season.

Probably a fair call that. Although you were unlucky to lose at DW and had the game lasted another 5 minutes in Cardiff you'd have beaten them then i'm pretty sure. The game at Stobart personified what Wigan do best and backs up your point above.
Against us it's been strange. We've got too far ahead early doors but on both occasions the game was pretty much in the balance towards the end.
I think on your day, full squad to choose from, its anyone's guess as to who would prevail out the three should two of us get to the finals.
Be interesting to see how it all unfolds over the next couple of months.

2. How many GF's have we won with Pryce
3. He is a great player but no one player determins the destiny of a whole club
4. This seasons not over yet ( can we please be a little more positive)

I read somewhere that groin injuries are one of the worst to overcome. They can ruin careers just because they never heal. And an operation is generally not much use. So I would imagine that unlike many other injuries any recovery from a groin injury needs time to assess.

Very true, groin injuries are awful injuries and my best mate had acterrible time with his groin.
The best medicine for a groin injury is tons of rest. It's got to be rested for long long time in order to completely heal and the is always string chance it will tear again.

| I know Justin Morgan has publically said out of all the SL (English) players Pryce was the one he'd take. Now obviously with injury concerns it might throw some spanners in to the works and Morgans uncertainty as HKR coach but if he stays he's a Bradford lad can still live their and travel over with Murrell.
I haven't heard any rumours to support this just latteral thinking with Morgan being such an admirer of his and the fact we need someone that can play full back and cover at half back.
