Does Somersetsaints post even meet "Tripe" qualification. Angry, bitter and jealous sounds more like it.

What ever did happen to Shaun Ainscough?'"
He is a top talent and a loss to the game over here, not sure he's ready for the NRL yet but I guess we'll all find out soon enough. Some of the goon 'loyal 18' or whatever crap they call themselves have picked on some of his errors because he is leaving, they obviously choose to forget that he's a young lad still learning.
I liked the look of Ainscough, it was refreshing to see a winger with real pace who was happy to go on the outside occasionally but I guess he just didn't develop enough to iron out the flaws in his game, probably wasn't helped by Nobby much.

| I believe they might be considering future mass wedding ceremonies at the ground due to the prodical son Tomkins causing salary cap difficulties.
Will this mean they will close 2 stands in the ground causing mass opposing fans migration.

| Quote ="tank123"In the squad is one thing but how many would you be able to play when you count on it 6 maybe 7 at a push including Lomax if fit. Your dependant on players developed else were for props, 6 and 7. You have let go your best talents in the last 10 years and neither returned. Which is a pity for the game as they are now replaced by overseas players or players from other sides. We could see a fully fit squad and potentially 10-11 Wigan developed players in the side.
As for ST replacement it was Bowen who is now replaced by Rocky who was not quite ready for the position last season. See we plan things we know when certain things happens. If Sam does not comeback then Rocky has his position covered. We do not need to panic as we believe in our youth players our 1-17 is mainly Youth developed players now which in that i now include Rocky as Bowen is now coaching him according to Wane.
Instead of begging a side for a FB we have an issue who do we have on the bench and who potentially of Williams, Rocky, Powell and Logan Tomkins which one will leave potentially. Good development with great planning works well.'"
Look at this dimwit.
What's in the water in Wigan at all?
'Good development with great planning works' says the supporter of a team with 3 titles in 18 years to supporters of a team who are presently champions and have won a third of all available silverware in the last 15 years despite going through our biggest drought since the 1980s.
Honestly, they're bloody crazy Wiganers. They'd be as well building a wall around the place and nuking it. God knows what goes on there.

Oh dear. Always best to be careful calling someone a dimwit.
Your obvious knowledge of Rugby League clearly doesn't extend to pretty basic physics.
Did you think that building a wall would stop nuclear fallout from causing quite literally hundreds of pounds worth of damage in Sintellins then?

Since IL took over tell me how many have we won compared to you. 4-1. You do have a good youth structure but to bring in a player from the NRL to cover one of the most important role in a side now is not that great planning considering most knows that Lomax will not play that many games. Lomax is an exceptional player that now looks like his career is in trouble. No side will pay a wage for a player injured for so long and keep him. But you do have to admit Wigan and especialy IL planning works through either luck or judgement we got Sam back sooner than i thought.
When Masoe leaves and there is now allegedly interest in the NRL for him will you promote someone of get someone in. I was not happy we did not get Burns when we knew that Green was leaving but again good planning seems that Williams is settling down in that role.
You seem to think i was disrespecting Saints but i was not i was merely pointing out that again in a key position you have to go and get a player in not promote. Apart from Roby now not one of you 6 7 and 1 now has come through the club. I do wish Lomax luck and hope i am wrong that it could be the end for him at Saints.
Not having a go but who could play and full back from your present squad if you did not get McDonnell.

Are you for real ?
Our first two choice full backs are Lomax and Wellens. Both Saints products and both injured. Our third full back is Makinson, another product. However, Dawson's injury means we can't lose Makinson from the wing, although funnily enough we've played Fleming and Bailey, two youth products, there in the meantime. Both Makinson and Swift, both products of our youth can play full back but we need them on the wings, hence McDonnell was brought in.
Masoe is being replaced by Tasi, as is our right. With Richards, Savelio and Thompson all playing prop and all developments from our youth, I find it amusing that you suggest we don't focus on it here, especially when your props include Clubb, Tautai, Patrick and Flower. All brought in.
Our recent half back development includes Eastmond, an England RU international, Smith, another England international although God knows how, Gaskell, another talent and Lomax, now at full back. Since that slowed we've brought in Walsh and Burns, who will no doubt be looked to be replaced from within. Remember, how you did the same when you had Finch and Leuluai, then Green, who you tried to replace with Burns ? It's called 'great planning'
Outside this we've brought through the likes of Roby, Graham, Greenwood and Percival - all present or future internationals.
If you want to moan about youth development, I suggest you go and do it with someone that doesn't excel beyond pretty much everybody at doing so.

I think Smith got his international call up because he was the best English 7 in SL albeit with a poor pool to pick from. I know he plays for Wigan but that shouldn't need god's help in understanding why he was selected.
Saints, Leeds and Wigan all have good youth development and all bring in players from outside the system presumably because at the time they are better than players in the squad. That's being pragmatic.

Of course they do. They plan well and give kids a chance to play. They also prefer signing British talent above imports.
Those three clubs lead the way in British RL and it'd be nice to see the rest follow the same policy. It'd also be nice to see an element of balance in some poster's posts as opposed to suggesting that the present champions of this country, with a side packed full of locally produced players, don't plan well.
