Ref has been the difference. The ball doesn't touch Jones and Makinson was clearly tackled there. No penalties at all against Leeds in a whole half despite several utterly blatant ones including the offside against Hall where he shot out to stop an overlap. He hadn't even gone back.

2 very poor decisions led to 2 tries. But we had to defend them though

This ref is a disgrace. He is shouting held when Leeds have the ball far to quickly, the drop out decision, and now a drag not picked up which has cost us.

Balls. Tackle was clearly complete and they pick him up and start dragging. It's a penalty whether they drag him into touch or not. The refs a joke they could do anything they liked and wouldn't be penalised.

after all the moaning i did about saints getting lucky calls none of them are going for you today, and he certainly seems to be pro leeds today. Better kicking game and more 50-50 calls your way and you can certainly win it.

Broughs "drop goal" is a lucky call. Makinsons "knock on" was the wrong call. There's a big difference.

im not disagreeing with Saints fans!! i think your being hard done to here, change it from lucky to 50/50. I think it was a penalty for dragging and i don't think LMS touched the ball for the drop out. Also think leeds are offside at the kick and chase a lot as well, but because the ball bounces silverwood isn't looking at it.

We've had one or two rough calls. But let's be honest, we're not playing well enough to win this game at the moment. We look short on aggression (again), we're prone to panic and our kicking game (and our chase) has been terrible.

Despite all that, though, we're still in it, which says something about our character. We will need to ramp up the ferocity and also play with more composure if we want to win it.
