SaintsFan has a point here. It is on the clubs head to market these sort of games, that is part of the criteria for bidding for them. In the past when we have had games such as the Exiles they haven't been promoted particularly well; this is why we only have one match.

People often question why so many games are played at Headingly, but the fact is they market the games and get strong crowds, Saints don't.

Although from what i've heard ticket sales have picked up massively in the last week , St Helens have been utterly useless in promoting this game ... so many 'rugby fans ' in the town don't even know it is happening ffs..

Hells bells; do we ever want to win anything or are we going to carry on offering the job to big time failures like him (within a week of being sacked by Shudders).

I might be a lone voice, but I quite like what SM is doing with England; the set-up seems a lot slicker and more professional than it has been and the culture appears less poisonous than it has been under previous coaches too.

The proof will be how we perform..

Keeping players happy certainly helps him, but if he can't coach a few decent games out of them then, I would not be in favour of keeping him.

Whilst I hate people being negative about the International game, this level of ticket sales is absolutely remarkable.

How are sales going for the game in Hull? I certainly think of Hull being a real "RL hotbed" and would expect a good turnout there.

It's about time St Helens were given some tickets to sell, not everyone can buy online. The East stand now seems to be unavailable and sales for the rest of the ground aren't going well by the sound of it.
