I'd put Soliola on the bench for when Perry and Laffranchi come off, gives us a bit of the grunt which dipped slightly against Leeds during that time.

We wouldn't have a choice but to do that if that was the case. IMO I think Wheeler will play as I can't see how he would have made the squad if he wasn't available.

Especially without the extra back cover in the 19 just in case he did miss out.

Rush has said that they are giving him until the last minute to prove his fitness, so that will be why he is in the 19.

I think you can still call players from outside the 19 up can't you?

I'd prefer makinson on the wing and Meli switching to centre.

But like said above: there isn't the cover in the backs to suggest that he's still uncertain to play.

IMO they must be pretty confident that he'll make it.

leeds werent at the races on sunday but they also went into that game blind, they had no idea what we were going to do....most of us in the stand im sure couldnt remember the last time we played rugby like it was a joy to watch....MR and KC will have had an extra week with the lads but tony smith will have a far better idea what we might come up with.

Fair enough to an extent it would affect them, but missing tackles and being generally poor just means that they were poor and not that they didn't have an effective game plan!

I reckon Wheeler will play, that its a rouse to stop them planning bombs for Meli on the wing and I think they'll bring in Makinson if he's not right.

I can't see them playing Sia at centre. Not against Bridge and Atkins. Leave him in the second row and if Wheels isn't man enough to play then Makinson or Foster should come in with Meli moving to centre.

If Wheeler isnt fit for tomorrow we do still have other options...Flannery can easily fit into centre and is more mobile and tighter defensively than Sia, who we could do with back in the pack with his big hits.

Personally, I think Wheeler will be fit to play, but if not I would still be tempted to leave Gardner and Meli as our wingers, Meli's kick returns against Leeds were awesome and played a big part in us getting on the front foot and hopefully can do the same this week.

I'd prefer sia in the backrow with Meli centre and makinson but I was told the team past night and it seems sia will be centre.
