Nice one , but I am sure the club know they cant please everyone all the time I have to applaud them for trying something different with the change strip last year and this instead of giving us a varioatin on a V , much as I love the V the change strip is a chance for a change

It looks OK. Very, very dull and more or less exactly the same as all the other uninspired basically plain black away kits that 90% of RL clubs seem to end up with these days, but OK nevertheless. Perhaps it'll look better in the flesh than in photos. The home kit looks good and that's the main thing at the end of the day. We could have ended up looking like walking beach towels a la Warrington's awful new away kit, so small mercies etc.

I prefer the fake mock-up photoshop version in blue.

However, this is perhaps more utility/servicable and can be worn almost at any time (especially tea time).

Looks OK to me, I'd have rather have had a collar like the ladies jersey does though.

Just buy a ladies jersey. You'll have a collar then!
