The extra prop at 13 allows Royce his back on the bench. I wasn't hot on the idea at first but now see what a great move Royce has done by copying the aussies by doing this.

Saying that, you need the right player to play the prop/loose role and TP is ideal for it. He's big, mobile, good go forward and good hands. You couldn't play the likes of fielden, lynch style of props there but TP magennis are ideal. I think that's why we've gone for laffranchi for next year. I think he'll take the prop/loose role.

By having laffranchi at loose acting as a 3rd prop then allows us to have LMS and perry in the front row with TP maybe the impact off the bench. So we are getting are 4 props but also a back on the bench to cover the backline.

Paul gallan in oz is the man that's took this prop/loose forward to the next level and shows with the correct players it's a very good move.

Gutted for Roby, he's a fantastic player and his stats this season standout from everyone else, a big loss, hope re recovers fully.

In his 1st season with us Morley fractured an eye socket and he didn't play for about 6 weeks.

I don't think a top two is out of sight. We've got this far with terrible injuries and we have got a much healthy squad at the moment. Wigan and wolves will go thru there injury spell yet.

The next month will really shape the league as the top sides play each other. We play Wigan and wolves. Wigan play hudds and I think Wigan have got wolves.

in the next few weeks some of the top lot are playing each other. tables can quickly change when that happens. we just need to be there ready to step in as they/we take points off each other.

Nah, there's a nice buffer of 3pts between us and Catalans and they're a bit inconsistent and will drop plenty of points. Leeds are 5pts behind. We'll finish 4th at worst this season IMO.

As for Roby, it really depends what type of fracture it is as to how long he'll be out. It's feasible that he could play against Wigan in 2 weeks if it isn't too bad.

As a Wiganer i hope he hasn't suffered a serious injury he is a true and honest rugby league player, i love watching him play but i'll only shout for him when he's playing for England lol.

I'm sorry about Roby's bad injury, big blow for Saints and England, fabulous player. You may get one or two loons who post this sort of crap but no Wire fan I know would feel anything but regret for an injury as bad as this to happen to any player.
