Cloughy would go as the 4th Prop with hopefully a signing of Chris Hill or as you say Bruce Gibbs. We would have real strength in depth in the pack then.

No because flannery will be leaving and laffranchi holds a italian passport

Meli I would think is exempt.

Even if that laffranchi has a Italian Passport, he will count as one of the 5.

I think Kolpack players signed before 2008 are exempt,so Meli isnt counted for us iirc.

So basically if T.P. stays we let Flanno go and we have signed Laffranchi then we are at our quota limit.If T.P. leaves and we get rid of Flanno then we have 1 space ( assuming we sign A.L. ).It seems Flanno is going to be odds on to leave then if we want a top quality overseas player.

I've got a feeling TP will become exempt next year because he will have done 3 years of service under a Kolpak passport, so he won't count either way.

It certainly does as the ain't any good British props available. I think of all the off contract players only Keith Mason is worth a shout.

Backrowsaint seems to think that TP will be off the quota(if he stays). If that's true then we've no option other than go to the NRL as we've got no young prop ready to step up.

I dont see anything on the rfl site that says anything about players being exempt after 3 years,this needs some looking into and clarification.
