He's been rubbish because his heart is clearly not in it. A RL player who is disinterested is absolutely useless.

He clearly hasn't warranted a 1st team spot based on his performance so far this season, so for that reason alone he shouldn't be picked. If he starts to put in performances in the u20s then he should only be promoted if the rest of the squad are happy for that to happen.

What is everyone basing their opinion on though? No one has spoken about Kyle not being popular or disrupting the team that all seems to be rumoured.

For me he is just a young man who was distracted by the burden of such a big, life changing decision. Now it's sorted it is likely to settle him down. He is our most dangerous player and should start. If he isn't in the right frame of mind for that he should be sacked.

This season at widnes will be hard enough without compounding that by dropping players out of spite. I notice Jammer isn't being dropped. Why is that?

Jammer is giving 100% for the cause and isn't playing his future through the media. He also hasn't given rude gestures to the fans and stormed off down the tunnel.

Jammer won't receive the abuse Kyle gets unless he does exactly what Kyle has been doing. Whilst some Saints fans tend to over-react, Eastmond certainly hasn't been innocent in this. I'm open to him returning to the 1st team should he prove his worth in the reserves and one of the other halves or backs loses some form / picks up an injury. I doubt others are though, which makes his position very difficult.

Ea$tmoney is a disgrace. I think we should start him as prop in every game possible and he wont be fit to play for Bath until 2015!

After todays viewing you play better without Eastmond in your team. You're a lot more clinical and the young lads show a lot of potential and love to look for the ball.

The fact that since he was dropped/suspended, we have looked like a completely different team, certainly hasn't harmed their case.

My guess is either Kyle's representatives tied Saints in knots, or Saints didn't follow procedure over his suspension - or both.

My guess is that Saints are in fact following procedure, if the procedure at rugby clubs is the same as most employers, ie: verbal warning, first written warning, second written warning and then you're fired. I would imagine the forced apology was the verbal warning and this suspension has been the first written warning. I would think he has two lives at best left before being fired.

Its hard to see him ever getting anything but that reaction from now on. I think the club are just hoping he will ask for a release, but if his new yawnion friends aren't paying him yet; why should he blink first?

You keep asking the same question. People are basing it on the fact that he has been beyond rubbish - he has put absolutely no effort in whatsoever in the games he has played. Therefore, he shouldn't be playing.

Hang him high. The whole issue leaves a very bad taste.Get rid, sooner the better.

Not necessary if the misconduct is so serious as could constitute gross misconduct - then (having followed the correct procedure of course) an employee can be dismissed despite having an otherwise blot-free copybook.

The finding of serious misconduct suggests that Saints are boxing clever on this, I'd guess he's been given the equilvalent of a final warning (as an alternative to dismissal) and any further evidence of similar behaviour will see him gone, with the club then having a much stronger case at the inevitable tribunal as they'll be able to demonstrate it was made absolutely clear to him (via formal disciplinary action) what behaviour they expected from him before taking the ultimate sanction of dismissal.

Not clapping the fans, which was the first offence, is unlikely to count as gross misconduct IMO.
