If you refer to our club purely as a ' company' and view it as a trading style then I'm not shocked that you dont get it. Sport isn't an ordinary business. That is my genuine feeling on the matter its not an overaction on my part as far as i am concerned. If you feel different personally then fine but dont judge how important it is to me.

now i know where the negativity from the stadium thread has gone, none of us know the reasoning behnd the log or the Saints RL branding we are all jumping to conclusions and complaining at the slightest thing, for some i am sure the club can do no right.

To those of us born and bread in the town the words Saints and St.Helens RLFC will always go together but from a marketing point of view it maybe easier to pick up fans from a wider area if the club isn't as closely tied to a town.

If we hope to attract fans from a wider area we will have to do better on the field than the last two lack-luster performances.

I asked today about this and it was confirmed that we are not dropping St Helens RLFC
