I agree. I'm getting sick of watching free-flowing,open rugby with miserly defence, played with half a dozen under 20's in the 17. Potter's a disgrace, and he even has the cheek to smile about it.

There are quite a few of my fans suggesting the same. There is even a Facebook group protesting that I was not involved in the Election debates.

But, as much as I'd hate to say it, it does look like I was right with the Justin Morgan thing. Had an hour long conversation with a certain retiring Saint at the weekend, one wonders what it could possibly have been about.

Couldn't blame Potter for walking at the end of his contract after the unwarranted abuse he's copped from the knee jerkers.

He's doing a terrific job and is excelling in precisely the area he was employed to - managing the overhaul of an ageing squad.

What abuse has he copped? Unless he reads these forums he won't have picked up on it. I'm not aware of any anti-Potter chanting.

I've often wondered whether the special case Saints fans think that the world's biggest RL forum site exists in perfect isolation of the real world and that the players/coaches/board/staff are blissfully ignorant of the general feeling amongst supporters.

You're assuming he has decided to go rather than the club deciding not to renew.

I'm assuming neither - I'm just saying I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to extend.

I really doubt a small portion of the support who ranted about him on an internet forum got to him and made him come to the decision.
