i'm proud to say i've never boo'd saints, we need to get behind the lads and the form will return.

If the players put the effort in, no matter what the score on the field they deserve our praise/support.

If they don't put the effort in, we as consumers are entitled to behave how we like as we have paid our hard earned for the privilege. I'm not a booer, never have been. I'm fed up of this holier than thou attitude that because we have won trophies in the past the team is somehow immune to criticism, if they don't put the effort in. Boll0cks to that. I've never boo'd Saints either (boo'd the ref and tonight I boo'd Hudds for playing around behind the touchline when they were supposed to be kicking off). However, tonight I didn't clap them either. They aren't volunteers. They are well paid professionals and that was a terrible performance. I wasn't surprised by it, I'm sure no-one was, but that doesn't excuse it and we shouldn't be praising such poor performances.

The team NEVER deserves booing off. You don't turn on your team like that under any circumstance IMO.

I learned tonight that penalty tries are no longer awarded. I don't know when that rule was changed. However, it was a great cheating play by Hudds, one of a few actually (including the fake injury in front of the posts, which should have been a sin binning, except the ref is spineless). Steal the ball over the tryline, two men on one, and because there is no penalty try anymore the opposition have avoided the try but the attacking side who would have scored it had it not been for the cheating play, has to go through the whole set again.

Lost my respect a bit tonight did Hudds, with that kind of play. It makes me very glad the knock on that wasn't, was awarded.

What fake injury? Potter was annoyed with that too but I obviously missed it.

One of their players pretended to be injured in front of the sticks when they were supposed to be kicking their goal line dropout and the ref didn't stop the clock straight away. Injury clearly pretend because once ref had stopped clock he jogged away no probs. I stand towards the away end so watched what went on and joined in with booing the Hudds players who were clearly playing for time.

They do like their negative games, do Hudds.

I have always thought that over the line the 1 on 1 ball steal shouldn't exist, every man to the pumps to stop the ball being grounded. If the ball had been retained then there would have been no problem, becuase of the way the ball was carried the steal was always going to happen if players tried to stop the grounding.

Maybe the player going for the try should protect the ball better.
