I couldn't name thirty good youngsters. Not a chance.

| I love all other fans posting utter rubbish on our forum it cheers me up no end, "potters e" "saints are e" thats as maybe, but we are still top of the league, so what does that say for all "YOUR" teams. Think you lot should concentrate on your own teams faults and let us worry about ours, at least we know what ours are.

The Association of British Counties is a political pressure group and asserts that Warrington is in Cheshire. That is not a statement of fact it's a statement of opinion. It's like me saying that I think Liverpool is in Yorkshire because that's how I believe it should be classified.

| Quote ="RIGSBY"although some of you may disagree...saints played their best rugby when millward was the coach..he used to get involved as well,..l sitting in the stand cheering them on..the only downfall was they used to let more points in..but ended up scoring more points than the opposition.their rugby in attack had much more flair and was far more entertaining than this lot is playing now.now it seems to be one man rugby up the middle.they hadn't got a clue yesterday when they got in huddersfields 20 meter area...as the season comes to a close im having my doubts about potter..and if it carries on we will end up at wigans standards..good luck to hudds they defended well and deserve their day of glory.'"
You were playing without your key playmaker; Long. What do you expect to happen? A 20 year old kid to play like a 10 plus year veteran?

| Quote ="CHANNEL22"If we do as people on here are saying (Sack Potter) we will end up like Wigan. How many coaches have they had in the last 10 years? That is not the answer.
Man United lost the FA Cup semi to Everton. Did their fans demand that AF is sacked?
I think one of the problems we (the fans) have with Potter is that he doesn't seem to communicate to/with us. Millward, DA, Bomber all did a peice in the St Helens Star so we got a sense of communication from that. I know Hanley didn't but he had is history as a player to back him up.
I, am I am sure I am not unique, use to see the above coaches now and again just out and about (shopping, in the park etc) I don't know anyone who has seen Potter "out and about". Does he just sit in his house all day long?
I think he needs to communicate to the fans more and become one of us thenwe may judge him differently'"
I've seen him in Asda, once.
If you remember, Anderson in his first season was very quiet and also the team played a very similar way to this season, however DA improved the fitness and defence and awful lot, i can't see any area that Potter has improved the side at present.

| That map has the border on the mersey, so half of Warrington is in Cheshire. But the ground is north of the mersey so that's in Lancashire.

| Just to bring the thread back on topic, I'd just like to point out that my reaction of "Sack Potter" was only applicable if he'd put Eastmond's well-being at serious risk by not taking him off.
The moment he was scragged, he was useless. He couldn't run, he was in pain, and he was at risk of making the injury worse with every play.
If Eastmond refused to come off, then Potter's off the hook. But I can't agree with keeping a crocked player on the pitch, it weakens your team and it risks the player's health. Even taking him off and leaving the team short would be better because at least you KNOW you've got to stretch your defence, rather than not knowing whether Eastmond's leg will give way just at the vital moment and leave you wide open.
But it's mainly the risk to young SL talent that gets me.
Any news on Kyle and whether he's injured?
Maybe he's just got a fractured eye socket.

| Potter out, sack the board, sell the King.
All of them gash. Bring back SOKR, lets have Doogal chaining his new found svelte physique to the gates of Knowsley Road.
Dog turn on Eamonn's car door handles.
