Yes you did miss Wilkin on Saturday, but IMO you missed Cayless far more.
If Saints don't find another prop to help Graham out he'll be burnt out in three more years or less.

And regarding Newton, he owned Cunningham every time. If it weren't for his moments he'd have been a legend. I'd rather have had Newton than Wilkin any day. Wilkin is a thug, although he has improved a little.

Cayless hasnt been playing well since 2007 and we really should have let go of him at the end of last season. Another prop is vital to help Graham out otherwise as I have said before he will end up like Fielden.

Although Hargreaves's form has been reasonable of late, I agree with you on this.

Hargreaves, although admirable in his commitment, was only ever signed as a squad man, and Maurie is still a luxury 4th prop. There's far to much resonsiblity being put an JG's shoulders and at the moment, there's only Clough who seems to be able to help with the [ireally[/i tough yards.

We need one more good heavy prop. We've lost Anderson, Fozzard and pretty much Cayless overthe past 3 years. If we signed a Luke Bailey, I reckon we'd be in much better stead.

Prescott looks like a decent player for the future, he's a big lad too.

Not perhaps by his standards, but even in his limited appearences this season, you'd see him manage some good yards per drive even in heavy traffic, and even though he wasn't playing extended minutes, it did help us alot. He's also a big figure in defence compared to the likes of Hargreaves.

Wilkin won't play this weekend and the week after at Catalans in the league game. Gilmour a major doubt for this weekend also.

If Wheeler's fit get him in the centres and we won't miss much (if anything) compared with Gilmour.
