I think we're pretty desperate for a back, particularly if Meli isn't going to return. There's only so many young players you can have in your squad.

We're desperate for pace in the side, no matter where it comes from. We have no one at the moment capable of going the length of the field, or finishing a break from 75 metres even. Almost every other side has one, Leeds have about 4.

Wheeler doesn't look like he will cement a place in the team over Pryce is he? Eastmond is a possibility, but there is obviously something wrong with his game or he'd be trusted more by the coaches. Anderson could have used his pace last season, but very rarely involved him.

if fit eastmond has shown the pace to play on the wing, so could be a stopgap until a replacement (my choice is fox) is found for roger

Fox is in the top 3 for pace in SL, a natural finisher and makes great yards from deep. We'd be crazy to let him go, at the moment he is irreplacable imo.

For what you'd have to pay for Fox i don't think you'd get alot back. He has some pace and strength but can be caught out in defence and often over runs the ball. In my opinion they're are alot better winger out there for alot less!

I would agree with that. I do not think he is better than Meli or Gardner. Fox looks more flashy than classy.

From what I have seen of HKR Dobson, Vella, Newton and Webster are your keep players. Fox adds a bit but saying he is irreplacable is OTT.

We couldn't replace him like for like with another British winger of his quality so I'd say he's irreplacable to us.

Peter isn't just a good finisher, his work in returning the ball and scooting from our own 10 - 20 can't be undervalued. Now we have Liam Colbon on the other wing we're making impressive metres before any of our forwards get involved in a set.

I think Colbon is playing very well at HKR, big lad with good pace.
