| Quote ="GouldyCrusader"Great pictures. The stadium looks great! I'm really impressed with it. Obviously, I won't be coming up for any Crusaders games next year, but will try and get to a few other games, as I really want to go to the ground. Nice to see a good view people in wheelchairs(I presume the pic before the directors box, those seats in the corner and at the top of the stand are for wheelchair access?).
Looking forward to visiting the stadium some time next season or maybe even in pre-season. Have you any home pre-season games schedueled in the stadium and when is it handed over to the club?'"
disabled speccies get some of the best views in the stadium.
With the disability discrimination act they have to have access to all areas of the stadium. Hence even the directors box has room for a wheelchair or two. However dont go thinking anyone can go in there. It would only be used if a director was wheelchair bound.

Yes, its good to hear. There's a certain guy in a wheel chair, who follows Crusaders all over the country and in some of the other grounds, they haven't the best views, so its good to see.

| Messrs Chair and Gruntfuttock, would either of you object if I utilise one of your pictures in the new banner for the site?

I'll likely try a few variations and offer it up to a vote as usual.

| Is it possible to walk behind the new Tescos to get to the north stand, or do you have to walk all the way round the front of the shop? I'm thinking from the new foot bridge.

I don't think you can get to the stadium alongside the left hand side of the Tesco building (as you look at it from the front. However the ramp from the footbridge seems to go a fair way across the front of the store.

the shortest route is round the side of Tesco there is no footpath but you can get round, you might break a leg but you can get round, a path with a gate wouldn't cost much.

Hi Doghead.
I've seen that bit of path there down the side of Tesco. I was wondering if they'll leave that open after the the whole new development is open.
I suppose it doesn't make that much difference really. going over the foot bridge then walking all the way round Tescos is no big deal really. I was just wondering (and wandering too .

quite a bit of land at the back there Donkey, and with road access, cant see it remaining undeveloped for long.

| Is the bridge that is being put within the next couple of days the one which will enable a decent walk to the train station?
Was told it will be 5-10 mins walk to St H Central, is this true?

you can use the bridge from the station via St Mary's market Ted, or go via Peasly Cross Lane, there not a huge difference, should take 10 minutes.
Using the bridge will bring you out at the home end, you can walk along past the main stand to the away end, getting some atmophere, after the game I would go back along Peasly Cross Lane it is a bit shorter.

A rough approximation of the recommended route from the station to the ground via the new bridge. Unfortunately I couldn't remove the blue markers.

| You can also use Todd road down the side of Matalan to get to the bridge.
